  31.         Welcome to Euphoria!  An E-Zine dedicated to drugs use and drugs users!
  32.      This is the first electronic issue of our zine.  Some of you may remember
  33.      us from our days when we were a "paper" zine and sold in clubs and at
  34.      raves.  Well, we decided to make this an electronic zine because it's
  35.      cheaper and we can reach more people.  So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the

  40.         In this artcle I will show you how to purchase, cultivate, and use
  41.      San Pedro.  This article isn't very technical so even the most
  42.      burnt-out head should be able to understand it ;)  If you do have a

  48.       Mescaline (the drug extracted from San Pedro, Peyote, etc.) is illegal
  49.      under the statutes of the Federal Government and the United States.  San
  50.      Pedro is not illegal to possess because it is a common ornamental plant,
  51.      but, as you know, the mescaline extracted from it is.  I, the author of
  52.      this article, assume no responsibility for what you do.  So, don't get
  53.      caught ;)

  58.       Botanically known as Trichocereus pachanoi, is native to the Andes of
  59.      Peru and Equador.  San Pedro is large and multi-branched, it sometimes
  60.      grows to heights of 10 to 15 feet.  One plant may easily provide several
  61.      pounds of pure mescaline.

  66.       In my opinion the best place to order San Pedro is ... of the jungle.
  67.      You can get 100 seeds for $5 or a 6-10 inch rooted specimen for $15.

  75.       When ordering from any company do not act like you are planning to use
  76.      their product for getting high...

  79.     -=Cultivation=-

  81.      Prepare a soil mixture of 3 parts coarse sand, 1 part loam, and 1 part
  82.     leaf mold.  Bake this in an oven at 400F for an hour to kill fungus,
  83.     bacteria, weed seeds, and insect eggs.  After the soil mix has cooled it is
  84.     ready to use.  If you are using a seed place it under a dusting of moist
  85.     sand.  If you are using a live specimen place it deep enough so that it
  86.     will not fall over.  Dipping the root in a rooting mixture, such as
  87.     Rootone, is a good idea but not neccesary.

  89.      The best time to plant a live specimen is in late spring, but a seed can
  90.     be planted any time.  Water about once a week in spring, summer, and
  91.     autemn and about once a month in the winter.  Also, make sure the plant has
  92.     decent drainage.

  95.     -=Increasing the Potency=-

  97.      Occasional watering with Hoagland A-Z trace mineral concentrate provides
  98.     the wide variety of trace minerals needed to increase the production of
  99.     mescaline in the cacti.  Water your plant with 9 parts water and 1 part
  100.     concentrate every two months.

  103.     -=Harvesting=-

  105.      Cut the top of the plant off leaving about an inch of cacti and the root.
  106.     Save the inch of plant and root to grow another cacti with.  Cut the San
  107.     Pedro into 1/2 inch disks and remove the skin and spines.  Discard only
  108.     the spines.

  113.      Take the skin and either chew it fresh or dry it in an oven at 250F or
  114.     boil it in water for a few hours and make a potent tea.  The wood like core
  115.     can be mashed and made into tea or eat the soft part of the woody core like
  116.     corn on the cob.

  134.     70 grams of pot

  144.     Melt the pound of butter in a pan.
  145.     Mix in the 70 grams of pot.
  146.     Let boil for a few minutes. (5-8)
  147.     Strain the butter mixture into a bowl.
  148.     Press the pot with a spoon to get all the butter out.

  155.     the bud butter.  Some people say the left over pot is useless, but I
  156.     usually mix it with some warm milk or vodka for a nice little buzz.
